What you can expect in our center
The Pyramid Resource Centre is an Aladdin’s Cave of resources for all. With a scrap store, handicraft materials and hire equipment all under one roof!
The Resource Centre is a project of Thurrock Play Network that works to actively encourage the reuse and recycle of everyday items that would normally end up in landfill.
We provide lots of affordable high quality resources for you to fulfil all sorts of creative ventures!
From card making to building your own sensory area, you could try your hand at crochet, reupholstering, sewing or building a bug hotel! It's all possible with the help of our fantastic resources. We have lots of different things available for you to recycle and reuse such as tubing, netting, material, buttons, wool, card, wood, foam, zips and lot lots more
Types Of Bags
When visiting and buying our scrap resources, there are a few options to
be aware of. Detailed below is the breakdown of how our pricing works.
We also have an array of household items, toys and craft supplies and
that are individually priced.
Remember - We are plastic free, so please bring your own bags to take your scrap home.

We have a variety of Scrap Resources which are great for all kinds of projects, from upcycling a cable reel for the garden to making a robot out of tubing and card..... the possibilities are endless!
All of our scrap resources have been donated to us by industry or the public making our Resource Centre a unique place to visit!
